The Martial Arts and Indonesian Pencak Silat

The indigenous styles of martial arts, invented and used in Indonesia are mutually identified as pencak silat. Pencak silat is a combat style that emphasizes the right to defend themselves against a large number of opponents. The name combines two words Indonesian martial arts: "Pencak is"(à_partir_de_Java_centrale_et_orientale) refers to the aspect of performance or delivery of the grain, while "silat"(utilisé_àle_sein_de_Sumatra) relates to the associated principle of self-defense."." Basically, the pencak silat is a reference to these two important areas of the Indonesian fighting style.

The origin and also the development of the martial arts in Indonesia have not been documented on paper. More details on the history of pencak silat is based on archaeological discoveries, oral customs, and mythological stories.

The legend, silat was first taught methodically in Sriwijaya by a woman in particular. Several regions have different variations of the tale, but all agree that she was a woman, Rama Sukana, who started the early silat, which forcing identifies the elegant parts of the martial art.

In one account, Rama Sukana said applying the fighting motions associated with birds and Tigers to protect themselves against drunken men. She was able to simulate the movements of the animals after watching a tiger and a significant bird to fight. (Other versions say that animal control she saw was between a monkey and a Tiger). Based on the movements and postures of animals, she designed an elegant approach to combat, and he taught to his partner, Rama Isruna. Rama Sukana self-defense style then passed through their family line.

After the shock on the Indonesia and the Netherlands come to an end in 1949, Indo combined European and Indonesian ancestry people who have acquired knowledge of pencak silat brought art to the countries of Europe.

Pencak silat became recognized and the guardian not only Indonesia, but also in Western areas like the Netherlands, France, UK, Spain, Australia and the United States.

Key points concerning the creation and use of pencak silat are self-defense and self-control. The aim should be to preserve life rather than cause damage.

To develop a style of combat for self-defense, students form with other practitioners. A basic training session will involve a student again come practice with three additional students. More advanced training, however, should a student to train themselves protecting against enemies even more, generally five to seven. This type of training is recommended for students to realize that to do well in dealing with more of an attacker, they must often be prepared to face an opponent while reducing is not an opportunity for the defence against someone else.

Being a martial art which includes survival as its ultimate goal, pencak silat focuses on economic but powerful techniques. Among the list of fact methods use of pencak silat practitioners are striking, kicking and grappling for empty hand fighting. Pencak silat individuals can use radiation and kicking moves primarily to him wear their enemies before moving to grappling moves. They will focus on areas of pressure to stop the attackers or out of the lock. Individuals will be taught to use all parts of his body as methods relating to knock, lock and as vivid joints.

Positions fluctuate according to the localized variations, but they are usually bizarre and intended to divert attention from the enemy. Depends on the position of a practitioner, he or she can perform a series of defensive or aggressive methods.

Another group of approaches is carrying weapons. In this particular section of the school, students learn not only to use weapons authentic, but also to use the things in their immediate environment such as tools, including belts, pens and combs to perform equivalent empty-hand techniques.

A well known white weapon used in pencak silat is called the kris. It is a dagger which usually involves a wavy blade. Traditionally, a kris has been developed to be particularly lethal plunge into venom, while forging it. Another white weapon is the pedang, Indian long sword. Including the kris, the pedang was mainly exercised by Kings and nobles. Like the kris is a long sword known as the sundang, generally with a wavy blade. A well-known curved weapon is the kerambit, a weapon Compact which appears as a cat claw. He was particularly appreciated by the female because it could be fixed quite easily in their hair.

Reliable long guns would be batang, a staff or a pole that could be made of bamboo, wood, or steel, as well as the lembing, a spear which is widely used with perisai or a shield of rattan.

The extent or the sarong is very good for protection against weapons slicing by an attacker. It can be implemented for se, locking and strangulation as well.

The ultimate resource to the ears of cauliflower

What is a Cauliflower Ear?
A Cauliflower Ear is simply a bruise (or hematoma) that does not heal. Your ear is composed of cartilage and when you get a hit or knock on blood ear between you ear and became wedged between the cartilage. If blood cannot drain out of the ear, then he will remain in the ear and become rather difficult. As the blood in the ear begins that the cartilage will begin to die, making it shrivel and bend a little which is hard why a Cauliflower Ear is twisted, similar to a cauliflower.

How get you it?
Many people think that you get a cauliflower to a direct hit, but it is very rare. Most players get their cauliflower of training six days a week and ears are constantly getting beaten and hit constantly. This is why trainers more experienced and the most serious of cauliflower ears while recreational players remain a little one-scarred. Judokas hit to the head of defence handles, rugby players to keep their heads in melee and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners get their ears trapped between the mattress and their opponent.

How doctors correct it?
The physician will be a local anesthetic in your ear first and then paste a syringe in and proceed to suck all the blood which is glued to the ear. If you ear has been swollen for a few days and starts to go hard the doctor may have to use a sharp knife to make an incision before removing the blood with the syringe.

If your cauliflower is not bad the doctor may ask you to rub some anti-inflammatory cream on the ear as well as to ask ice three to five times per day. This will help reduce swelling in the ear.

When should I drain?
Earlier is better than later. If drain you your ear immediately, until the cartilage is damaged then your ear will more often than return to the way it looked normal. If you empty it has immediately that the blood will go hard, once in this case you are unable to sell the blood and the only way to solve the problem is to get an operation.

Can you prevent them?
You can wear headgear called "Cauli plugs" to prevent a cauliflower ear. The headgear will protect your ears to be hit and they are a good investment for those who never want cauliflower ears.

Some old wrestlers warm ears before each training session. They felt that the flow of additional blood in the ear more soft cartilage which suffers as evil when he is hit in the ear.

The purpose of Martial Arts

It is easy to see why the martial arts developed systems. When battles were a summation of hundreds of individual fighting between warriors, and the technology used in the war was limited to some armour and perhaps a particularly imaginative weapon or just a sword, the decisive factor in the battle was the physical prowess of humans involved. He did so is not surprising that many attempt to improve their combat, the observation of what has worked well and what is not.

One could say that the original purpose of martial arts was to grant the carrier combat ultimate skill, so that when a war was being conducted, it could be won.

Why then are always popular martial arts today? And now that we live in an era of relative between the country peace and stability in most of them, what is their purpose now?

I have been cautious in the above paragraph to avoid the declarant that the wars are no longer conducted. Of course, they are; they're happening right now. It is important not to neglect the fact that the modern soldiers are still taught martial arts. What they have learned would be considered by many professional practitioners as a shadow of the real thing. Soldiers are taught a syllabus that extracted the best and most relevant of all combat techniques in the world, combined with the knowledge of human anatomy to improve again. They are really learning a martial art in the commonly perceived sense. Nevertheless martial arts still have a purpose in the modern war.

The majority of the students, however, is not of the soldiers. I would also argue that a high proportion of students, never have any intention to use their knowledge in a real situation, or rather, never had no intention of being in a situation that should be. In this spirit, the goal of martial arts seems to have been laid off. So what is then the end now?

I am not going to consider the reasons why any one specific student could choose to learn. Finally, it could define an object based on why people choose, but it is commercialism and which would lead to knowledge becomes more diluted. If we say that is designed to give people what they want out of the combative arts, the system starts to compete for students by changing of what is taught.

When we think the initial goal of martial arts, in fact seems rather at odds with what is actually going. In almost all schools, there is an essence of moral code. Almost all masters their students to use their knowledge with caution. But apparently martial arts are simply a set of techniques used in the war and require no ethics.

What is the purpose of this system of ethics. It may be to guide or limit practitioners, so that they use their knowledge wisely instead from greed. I think that this shows us that the martial arts in the modern world, is to prevent wars conducted, or beats be combated, both by giving structure of morality and discipline in the people who use it and then using.

Training of Judo

Judo is one of the best sports writing a gym program and it is due to the fact that Judo has much different physical components to it. Strength, power, speed, agility and stability of the joints are all included in programs written specifically gym or elite Judokas.

You must be the elite:

-Aerobically adapted: you must be able to complete a 2.5 hours randori session at the Japan
-Anaerobically adapted: you should be able to fight a struggle of 5 minutes
-Explosive; have the ability to explode at any second for projection
-Agility; to defend your attacks opponents and escape throws
-Technically sound; a run of good competition of throws, submissions and pins
-Body full-strength-endurance; to be able to last for a 5-minute struggle with all your muscles let alone lung
-Maximum strength. have the force necessary to execute a pick up
-Flexible; be sufficiently flexible to your way of folding shots and escape from pins
-Mentally strong; be able to put in place with sessions in the Japan, and the day of training to update every day
-Tactical mind; must be able to analyze your opponents and competition and the carpet outside tactics

In this report, I'll talk about the type of strength training, a judoka should do to become a more powerful, explosive judoka.

Many modern judo players don't really know how weight train properly. I believe that it is for 2 reasons. The first reason is that there are many schools out there that give strength and conditioning qualities and instructors detention don't know even how to teach a resistance base and packaging techniques. What coaches are supposed to be written a program in force for a player of judo in the shape of cone for a competition.

Another reason why Judokas do not complete a proper force program is because there are many players Judo elderly who participated in a world without the strong countries physically dominating the world today. Many of our older generations began the formation of weight at the end of their careers and as many leisure people stick to what they have learned. These former Judo players then go junior Judo players coach and teach them the same weight as 20 years ago training techniques.

The problem is science has now tried and tested many of the "old school" methods and who have found their more harm than good.

For example: in the past, practice common to train athletes until they vomit. Studies show that hard training you fill your body with a poison and the only way to rid the body of the poison is to vomit. As a result then your body taking 30% more to recover. It is a very important discovery, and many coaches must take into account when executing the judo sessions.

What judo players exercises should do?

Judo players must complete the whole body exercises (preferably in a position of quality) they also need grip strength, tensile strength, power and explosiveness. With what they need core muscles strong emphasis on rotation above all others.

There are many basic exercises that are good for all levels of judo players. Some exercises are simply too difficult to learn how to don ' t bother, e.g. Snatch, high pulls, etc.

Here is a list of all the exercises that I think should be done by all competition of judo players. Most of these exercises I would prescribe 5 sets of 5 a week and 3 sets of 5 on the 2nd week. With a maximum elevation, once every 2 weeks.

I chose these exercises and their conduct myself because of the power and the explosive component of all.

Best Judokas exercises will be invited to complete are power cleans, Crouch, dips, rope mounted, bench press, press push, the farmers walk, propellant, squats and complexes.

I believe that when your abdominal training, you must use your torso. This is because when do judo you are not a tightening or leg raised on the floor. When do Rotary abdominal Judo and simultaneously activating with your upper body. So when do basic exercises you should use your arm at the same time.

Here is a list of exercise to simulate this type of simultaneous action.

Please note that, in my view, crunches are a waste of time for the Judo because you never ground crunching until then Judo are still standing, and rotation. Therefore when performing abdominal exercises, you must be in a standing position and movements of rotational as wipers, l is seated, lying Spartan, wrestler twists and dumbbells bounce.

The following exercises are just good at Judo. They require the full coordination of the body and can be used in a training session (especially circuits.) Shot put (or db throw), sledgehammer slams, kettlebells, bag of sand, Turkish get ups, car/pulling, draft of sled, box jumps, mb slams/throws and applause push-ups.

If you can't find a partner or get your hands on some gym equipment, these are very good cardio circuits you can do with a bike, elliptical, climber of stairs or machine rowing. You can also perform short bursts of burpees, jump, Sprint of the Hill, Turkish get ups or boxing as.

If you are in the dojo and want to make some specific exercises Judo perform techniques such as bears, analyses, uchikomi rubbers, rope, climbing, wheelbarrows, the shadow uchikomi, me handstands and roll forward.

I hope that this article helped you understand a little more on the exercises that I recommend in the formation of the Judo that you find a trainer who knows what Judo is. Too many personal trainers in gymnasiums and coaches not quite understand what strength training is the subject and prescribe exercises that are a waste of time.

For competitive Judo, you must power the body and force and you can get that by a set of biceps curls or seated rows. You need to do movements composed with heavy weights and low representatives, it is the only way to build strength.

As for the base force, do not forget that we want to abdominal exercises that incorporate the upper part of not only the abdominal body. Good luck with your training, I hope that I opened your mind to a more specific training of Judo using good resistance exercises instead of the usual programme that both players on a regular basis.

Tai Chi for Self Defense: a few Suggestions to remain living in the street

Tai Chi is an internal martial art. It helps relieve stress, and it can be used as a method of self-defense (although it may not be used as an offensive methodology because it was not designed for this purpose). As any self-defence, methodology is, to ensure the use and application of techniques of self-defence, especially in the case of what is known in some circles of martial arts as the"Street" or "simply being in the street". This article does not claim expertise in this area. We mainly choose to inform the reader of how to behave properly in a street situation and how to survive.

In the case of situations of streets, where one is attacked by an assailant armed or unarmed, usually an attacker seeking to steal valuable goods such as silver and gold necklaces or rings and, in the case of situations of streets, always with the violent use of brute force, it must always be ready to run first and then fight if it is stuck.

The first rule of street legitimate defence must be chicken. RUN for your lives depend on it. Do not play the superhero. Super Heroes in real life are idiots. Superheroes can have super powers, but you do not. Run if you have an opening in the gang huddling on you, or if the assailant (s) is limited in number. Run if you can.

Numero Uno on the list of priorities is not step to find a weapon, but in the term.

If you are on the ropes, then you must react accordingly. The best way to respond is therefore not respond to all. Rather, you would be better to act proactively and to try to order the aggressor to stop. If it will stop, and then try to attack you. If your portfolio is not essential to your current activity, give it up. Give up your money and personal effects; do not give your life!

If the attacker wants even more, such as rape or violently docking you, then and only then is finally appropriate fight against him. However, don't forget that people fighting (including both sides) are generally those that end in body bags later.

Your best choice, as always, is to stick to your training, but whenever you get the chance, run.

If you have not understood the key lesson in this entire article, and then here it is for you:

Run, don't walk and do not play super hero and fight. RUN. For life. And may you live to see the light of day one!

Amen.

The Hunter vs. the Warrior

This is the age in the Martial Arts UFC. He brings unparalleled Martial Arts coverage. Good? Yes. Bad? Yes. Let's look at why. Everyone and his brother want to be a Hunter and this is, I love the sport. Problem is more and more fighters are being selected on their personality rather than on their actual skills. Mistake not all those who fought in a cage merit a certain amount of respect. But how many of these guys are good role models or have their own actions dictated by any type of code?

It is regrettable, but not all veterans are artists Martial. A Martial artist must be more than a bunch of techniques. They must be on the other side of the equation - honor, courage, humility, a sense of justice. I could continue, but I think you get the picture. I know that some reading of their eyes now, and it is ok. These people, I am sorry that they are unable to understand what I say.

After these guys finish their combat careers continues to train? After troubleshooting has been completed and the melting of any spots lights is they continue to train? The answer to this will tell if they are a true Martial artist. They can be the great fighters and I will never of them, but if they desire only their skills for the competition they lose much.

It is not difficult to find the real martial artists that you watch UFC or other MMA event. The manner in which they themselves, their actions toward their opponent, how they act in the ring. These are the real warriors; they go beyond just veterans. They will not always win, but their spirit is indomitable. They are humble in victory and defeat. After their career after they have in the cage or ring for the last time, they will continue to develop their skills and pass them on others.

It is easy to be a Hunter as a warrior. The Hunter can walk. The Warrior, due to its code, because his understanding of Martial Arts beyond the simple technical, not impossible. The Warrior still defend when they are needed; they are always ready to challenge humanity on the path. They will always endeavour to ensure that their Art; their complete ART is passed.

We all have a code; We all strive to better ourselves. We all have it in us to do what is right and what is necessary, even if it is not what is easy or what we want. The Warrior will never enter a conflict based on his belief that he will win or lose. It will enter conflict because it is the right thing to do. The Warrior has the ability to inspire the spirit, while the Hunter only has the ability to inspire our desires more than base. Not to take too many of these words, Warrior - hunting, in the end, these are just labels, words on paper or syllables in the wind. Acts tell the story. Always strive to make your actions to tell the story of who you are or who you really want to be.

Two approaches to Combat: natural reaction of the Optimum reaction VS

In my experience, there are 2 approaches to self-defense and that two of them are finally effective. The approach you will want to take will likely be determined by your commitment to training and your training objectives.

The first approach, that is what I call "natural reaction". We all have a natural instinct for survival and some means of combat are inherent to everyone. For example, we did learn how to start a good old-fashioned haymaker. And does it not to have someone teach us to throw our arms around the neck of someone to smother the if we get in a game of catch with them. It is all natural, instinctive, reactions that we have done since our first battle school. Other examples: increase our share of block while jerking our heads to avoid punches and entering our opponent when we are bombarded by punching.

In the "Natural reaction" approach to the learning of self-defence rather than fight against these natural responses, we learn to refine their and use as a basis for their approach to fighting. In other words, as a natural response is to enter my opponent when I lose the punching game why do not practice the guy in such a way that it is easy to take it to the ground or knees and elbows in close to fire. In addition, learn how to effectively choke so that when you're instinctively wrap your arms around the neck of the guy you can ensure that it is tight and the guy is not able to get out. And practical counter after you block or lean back so that you can take full advantage of these reactions.

Training yourself to take advantage of your natural reaction is very effective, especially since in a scenario of actual self-defense when our adrenaline is pumping our natural instincts tend to take in any way, which means that these strategies that you practiced in the room of gym and complex techniques are likely to be completely out the window.

At the other end of the spectrum is what I call "Optimum reaction." Optimal reaction is based on the fact that as humans, we are able to use our logic and reason to come with even better responses to attacks that our natural responses, and we can even take advantage of natural reactions of the people. In other words, we can train ourselves to circumvent our natural responses to use the most optimal reaction, that we can find with a given attack.

There are certainly advantages to this approach as well, and there are ways to prepare so that you are able to use in a situation of self-defence at high pressure. Learn to relax and stay calm in intense situations is the key to this approach.

If I use a couple of martial arts to illustrate these two approaches, I would suggest that Krav Maga is an effective application of the "Natural reaction" approach, while Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a strong example of the approach "Optimum reaction."

To determine what approach to take for yourself, I suggest first looking at how much time you are ready to implement training. If you are simply looking for a database of self-defense skills that I would recommend learning something "Natural reaction" based. If you are ready to spend years to hone your skills as a martial artist then methods "Optimum reaction" is probably better for you. Think also about the intensity that you are ready to take your training. If you are looking for packaging especially then the "natural reaction" methods give you what you need to hold your own in a fight, and you can pass the rest of your time to develop your physical condition and attributes. If, on the other hand, you are ready to train in certain high stress, the conditions of full-contact, and then choose the "Optimum response" method may be more ideal since you will be able to retrain your natural reactions under stress.

There are certain arts which are a hybrid of the two. MMA is an example. The demand in a fighter aircraft conditioning MMA that many MMA fighters have focused on "Natural reaction" based methods as their Foundation. Although the level of competition increases the MMA fighter is forced to be as strong in the development of their game "Optimum reaction."

Jeet Kune Do is another hybrid of the two, combining the techniques of self-defense faster, easier and more effective. For example, in my school the first defence that I teach students is what I call the defensive SHELL. While getting rid of weaknesses and gaps, could have, he took advantage of the response "natural reaction". We develop this as the Foundation for the defence of the student. Then, we are moving towards better, more technical optimum defence as INTERCEPTION - "optimal reaction."

The legality of Self defence

When it comes to the defence of self-defence, there is a rule, you should always keep in the back of your mind. It is that you should always use the minimum force. This should be determined by what you think is reasonable and necessary when it comes to resolve any situation that you are in. This then is what is considered the minimum level of strength? In short, if you can resolve the conflict with a push, not whip on a brick! If you can solve it with a blow, certainly do not bring your knife. Although the minimum level of force will be differ from one situation to another, you will need to use good judgment to find the minimum!

This then is what is reasonable? Common sense should be used here. For example, not punching you your child if they will not stop crying. It is not reasonable in all of the same nature or form. This brings us to what is necessary? To answer this question consider if you need to do this, your problem to solve, you have the option to leave and if so, should you? If a person attempts to prejudice your spouse you will be required to protect, for example.

Another important element is to resolve the situation safe. In no case should the self-defence be a game or contest! Sometimes, a game of catch will be the surest way to solve a problem. A police officer will do their best to ensure that they do not get injured, but on the same note, they are dealing with people who are breaking the law. However, you need to find the safest solution for all involved.

When all is said and done you must also explain how you knew that you were in danger. This all links in the intent. Someone was going to kill another human being or destroy your property? It's very good reasons of intent. Someone threaten you? You will need to be able to clearly explain why you felt threatened and how your actions were in self-defence.

As already noted, each situation is different and with this, the laws of the State vary also. In some States you can defend against your property, while others restricted the defence of self-defence, which is permitted. There are various acts involving weapons such as firearms and so forth, so getting to know the laws where you live!

Lee Mainprize is a publisher of self defence of world class and combat systems and martial arts instructor. For those who want to learn the martial arts of self defence, these programs are a series of great training. People of all ages can observe how to learn martial arts in a short period of time with great success.

The Arts martial and staff training and development - why you would want to learn Ninjutsu?

You want to learn effective ready self-defense, street? Many are. But you are also working on personal development and try to make yourself the "you" best you can be?

You may know that martial arts are a great way to do both, but have you ever tried to learn ninjutsu - the teachings of master self-protection and the life of the ancient families of Ninja to the Japan?

Why ask?

Because I have heard the same question several times, especially on the part of those who have at least a little knowledge and experience with martial arts. This question is...

"Why anyone would want to learn Ninjutsu."

There are many dojos there who teach karate, Tae kwon, Jujitsu, Aikido and much more. Each of these martial arts could be effective and the means to defend itself and, truth be told, can be more accessible to most people. According to who you are and what you want in life, especially if you're only in the martial arts, sports or as an aerobic activity - then I would suggest that you do not learn Ninjutsu because it is not for everyone.

The type of people wanting to learn Ninjutsu are those who are ready for some "something more" of life. These are people who are ready to live the life of a warrior in all aspects of their being. Those who are a perfect match to learn ninjutsu are those who seek what they want and do what it takes to make these things happen. The reality is that...

.. .you will not get the trophies or go to tournaments if you learn ninjutsu, but you "will" change the life of skills to help you propel far above your peers - and in all aspects of your life — not only in physical training, step by step for self-defence.

Quite simply, Ninjutsu is the total package system of empty-hand fighting weapons combat, equivalent real set of self-defence. In addition, even if it has its traditions that are conserved in the true artist who wants to learn Ninjutsu realizes that society has changed and that Ninjutsu has evolved with it and to adapt its techniques to adjust the modern Warrior.

There is no substitute for real life training. Most of the other schools of martial arts only teach a way of doing things and believe that their way is the only way. But when you learn ninjutsu, allows you to learn how to have multiple options for every situation. What gives you the greatest chance of success - against the worst possible threats and problems.

Therefore, if you only want to trophies and want to train yourself to weigh each time that you start punching. If you believe that the attackers will be only attack you kicked specific fist or you kick above the belt, then perhaps you should find a dojo that will give you a good once or twice a week hobby. I suggest that you learn not ninjutsu.

However, if you are looking for a change in real life which is applicable to everything you do and really you prepare for everything from real life street-survival to success with your family, relationships, career and more...

.. …It is the time for you to learn ninjutsu. Because it is the path, not hunting or simple martial artist - but the path of the Warrior - the man or woman who engages in the world full whip with purpose, direction and firmness.

If you are the kind of person, so don't wait, get now on the way!

You are ready to take the necessary steps to learn ninjutsu and exactly what gives the system its power? You want to know what it takes to advance through the levels of control of this powerful martial art self-defense?

UFC 132: A battle of Veterans

UFC 132 has 5 fighters who are 30 or more than 10 total hunters on the main map. This is ready to be one of the "oldest" maps in the history of the UFC. The main event will feature Dominick Cruz, current holder of the bantamweight title against Urijiah Faber. The cfu 132 was BJ Penn and Jon Fitch, but the two fighters were forced to withdraw from the competition following an injury. This could be a night that buried some of the Veterans of the UFC for well washed up or to extend their legacy?

Thus for a Hunter, I feel that it will be almost certainly the former. It was Tito Ortiz. He has not won any of his last 5 fights, dating back to the UFC 66. His last victory was against a washed to Ken Shamrock, who was on a series of 3 loss at the time. Why Dana White allowed Ortiz to the fight against Ryan Bader is beyond me. He asked just to finish his career with another loss. Ryan Bader, 28 years old, has a record of 12-1 with his only defeat against Jon Jones (who was to become the UFC events light heavyweight champion two later). I can say without a doubt that this will be the end of the career of Tito Ortiz.

Another combat remarkable features Chris Leben against Wanderlei Silva. Two star fighters knockout power and it is unlikely that these two fighters go the distance. 70% of Silva WINS were via knockout and 52% of the Leben WINS were by knockout. While Silva has lost its last 5 7, his last fight was a victory against the veteran of the UFC, Michael Bisping. On the contrary, Chris Leben has won its last three 4 fighting, but lost his last fight against Brian Stann. The fight could go in both cases, but I'll take Wanderlei Silva by KO, because its a 4-inch reach advantage.

Do not pass unnoticed course is the main event between Dominick Cruz and Urijiah Faber. Cruz is 17-1, but should be noted that the loss is nothing else than Urijiah Faber in 2007. Many thought that Faber was too old to win against Eddie Wineland. It has proven critics wrong by taking a decisive victory against him. Faber is 32, "the California kid" still has fight left in him. Cruz but is only 25 and can overwhelm Faber with its top notch and juvenile agility packaging. 10 of his 17 victories went the distance, which demonstrates its primitive form. I am taking payment and giving the veteran to victory this time. Faber will continue Cruz obstacle.

If while UFC 132 was formerly Penn and Fitch, the event is always loaded with interesting battles. None of the fighting are exciting enough to be a main event initially planned, but I have 4 of these 5 battles with co-main event interest and hype around them. The fourth fight I not mentioned is Carlos Condit against Kim Dong-hyun. Kim is slowly creeping its way up to the UFC. He is unbeaten in 14-0-1 and 5-0 in the UFC. Don't be surprised to see this rising star to get his title shot very soon.

What should examine your strength of Judo and the formation of packaging as

It is very important that the training sessions that you fill in the gym are beneficial to improve your overall Judo game. If you complete the training sessions that are not written to Judo, you find that your success on the mat will be somewhat limited!

In simple terms, if you want to get success on the carpet, that you train you as a Judoka.

Not a body builder and not a power switch; But a JUDO player.

All my years as an international competitor I watched needs a fitness and conditioning Judoka and have programmed my drives depending on what elements are needed.

These vital elements include:

Anaerobic threshold:

Your anaerobic threshold is simply the body of your ability to perform at a high intensity before the appearance of lactic acid.

Aerobic capacity:

The ability to recover between "matte" and provide muscle to work with oxygen leads to removal of lactic acid.

Body high speed:

Is essential in the handful of fighting (kata kumi) and your opponent off balancing (kuzushi) traction.

Low speed of body:

And the breakdown of the balance of your opponents, your entry speed is crucial to the success of the launch. Speed of lower body is a must in all training sessions.

Agility:

Agility is necessary to avoid attacks and if necessary, to escape attacks to avoid raising for Ippon.

Coordination:

Coordination is a huge part of Judo. You must be able to know where your body is positioned to attack, defend, and quickly adjust techniques.

The upper part of the body force and power:

Need to break your grip of opponents once they seized your IM while being able to explode pins (Osaekomi-waza).

Lower body strength and the power:

Lower body and the power is crucial in almost all shots of Judo. Technical as Seoi swimming and O Goshi require you to explode upwards and forwards a squat or half position crouched to complete the technique.

Force rotation:

Almost all shots of Judo require that you rotate to complete the technique. It is essential that all Judokas have the force of rotation to complete the pleas and cross resistance, that you may encounter for the defence of your opponents.

Force Base:

Core force is essential for a number of reasons. It protect your spine injury, transfer force from the bottom of the upper body to body, as well as help your balance.

Force feedback:

Force back is crucial to stand and fight with great posture. A strong return will be stopping your opponent pulling your head down as well as help you get your opponent off-balance sheet.

Power of hip:

Power hip is vital to defend the shots. In addition to the defence, your hips will help you generate much energy during launch and escape from pins.

Concentration:

The concentration is required by each Judoka in each training session the randori and competition. As a training session or of the continuous struggle and you become tired, you not just physically stop working, but you start mentally to make bad decisions. You are the fitter and oxygen you have in your body, you can better focus. The result is that do you better, faster decisions in competition.

Mobility:

Mobility and joint stability is of great importance for all Judokas. Be mobile and flexible greatly help you in many areas of your Judo. It will help you escape techniques, and the increase in the range of your radical leg which is excellent for throws Uchimata, Tai Otoshi and Osoto Gari. Being mobile help also in the prevention of injuries.

In collaboration with stability: keeping these flexible joints you stable joints that will help when throwing your opponent. For example while performing a polychaetes Goshi or Uchimata, having stable ankles and knees will greatly improve your chances of maintaining the balance and to launch your opponent for a score. Joint stability is also important to reduce the risk of injury in training or competition.

Balance: Balance is a fundamental aspect of Judo. Judo was designed to be a set of imbalance created your opponent using a variety of techniques. It is therefore essential that the balance is always a serious part of all training of Judokas.

If your drives target some, but not all of the above I think you should re-program your sessions of training accordingly or talk to your coach and ask them to look over your current gym program.

UFC 133 Evans Vs Ortiz: statistical distribution

With such an exciting UFC 132 in books, we have what looks like a sub by cfu 133 before us. To first view the event as a whole does not have the star power or the dynamite games which are almost always guaranteed to deliver. However, these events are often that one is that fans will be disappointed after deciding not live look and hear later on the nonstop action. Let's make sure that it does happen to us this time and take looking at more closely matches and statistics of each control to see if there are a few key games which have the potential of the delivery.

Chad Mendes vs. Rani Yahya

It's a match up between a great wrestler and a great grappler. It is not a question of Mendes disassembly Yahya, but a question to benefit when they are on the ground. Mendez has 22 dismantling in 5 fights, but Yahya on average a fight ending presentation for all 5 minutes that it is in the Octagon. One thing we can count on the good is that probably will not be a slug fest, since both of them combine to just more than 200 successful in 13 combined combat strikes.

Vladimir Matyushenko vs. Alexander Gustafsson

Vladimir will probably catch advantage in this battle, but Alexander averaged 4.23 observations for all 15 minutes of combat. Combine this with a stunning defense of 41% and Vladimir could bring in a set of commands plan and knock a little. Both are coming off the coast of a two fight win streak, so that they will have likely that additional confidence that will add some excitement to the fight.

Rory MacDonald vs. Mike Pyle

This could be a struggle full wholesale statistics because they have an average of more than 8 minutes of fight by fight time. They are both fighters well balanced with above average stats in the Department of orders; However, Rory should have a definitive advantage with dismantling. It was not yet taken down and dismantling successfully 12 3 hard fighting. On the other hand, Mike Pyle has only a success rate of 29% on dismantling and a defence of disassembly of 71%.

Jorge Rivera vs. Alessio Sakara

This will be one of these battles that are difficult to predict because Jorge Rivera will want the fight standing, and Alessio Sakara want the fight on the ground. Jorge has 674 strikes attempts in his 14 fights with only 6 dismantling successful. Alessio has a success rate of 77% in disruption, then 94 of its successful strikes 248 of the soil. It is just a matter of which the force will be stronger of the two.

Vitor Belfort vs Yoshihiro Akiyama

This is yet another struggle which can easily be fought on the ground as well as permanent. Vitor has a striking accuracy of 48% and has some knockout power, but it is only a defence of disassembly of 44%. Yoshihiro Akiyama has on the other hand an astonishing 39% accuracy, but it to it with a 79% decision-making to the low rate of success then do not disassemble once in the stat recorded fighting. Both are coming off the coast of losses, they may be a little hesitant, but when there is action, they both should receive decent stats in their areas of expertise.

Rich Franklin vs Antonio Rogerio Nogueira

This struggle must be one of the most exciting to look at the night fighting. Rich Franklin is a never really disappointed to win or lose. It has one of the senior strikes landed with a number of 3.99 per minute. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira has below average stats when it comes to amazing precision and disassembly. Franklin could display up to big stats anywhere will fight and should have the advantage in almost all categories except the game of the bid.

Rashad Evans against Tito Ortiz

Even with the change in the main event, we still this confrontation play essentially the same way if Rashad would beat Phil Davis. The first stat I would put money on that is that it goes the distance. Rashad on average an hour of struggle of nearly 11 minutes then average Tito is from 10: 30. The two fighters have a strike force, but rely mainly on their ability to catch. This struggle could see a lot of time in the position to clinch against the fence or in the field of the guard. Rashad Evans has 85 attempts of disassembling total 15 fighting while Ortiz has more than 122 attempts 23 fighting. The excitement only we could see from this struggle is that Ortiz has confidence in his hands after arriving off the coast of inactivation of Bader and let go a little more. Rashad is very likely some rust ring which adds to the chances of him getting caught before shaking off the coast. But probably it will be composed of a combat type impasse in which we will hear many boos from the crowd and little actual statistics of combatants.

Why good Keikogi is necessary and the Importance of taking care of it

Karate is a martial art that requires self-discipline and pride, so uniform that is a person can speak volumes about their attitude to art. Then, how a person will keep their IM own tip-top?

IM is a dear uniform and must be kept a brilliant white color and erase any folds or marks. As most of the uniforms is made of cotton, they have a tendency to discolour fairly easily. It is normally due to the sweat that cotton absorbs during training. In addition, uniforms become heavier when using the sweat and tears and tears along couture can sometimes occur.

The most effective way to ensure that IM lasts as long as possible is to wash it once it has been used. This will prevent any sweat into the cotton. The IM should be washed only with the other white, as it will minimize fading of the material. Powerful detergent should be used when washing as sweat can stain quite easily, especially in the regions of the armpit and groin.

Once the wash cycle has completed, the IM should be dried on the washing line or, if it rains, the Interior on a horse of clothing in front of a radiator, but not on the radiator directly. This is because the driest fall or direct heat from a radiator, can cause the material to shrink and out of shape. When the IM is completely dry, and this objective should be achieved as quickly as possible, it should be folded.

If it was dried as quickly as possible, that it should not be many folds on IM and it is a good thing that ironing should be avoided, unless absolutely necessary. This is because the heat from the iron can damage equipment if applied too often.

IM folding is important to avoid creases and this process is relatively simple. The jacket can be folded as any other shirt would be, by folding one side more, followed by the other party and then the sleeves. The pants should be folded by placing all legs and fold in thirds to make a small beam, about a third of the length of the pants.

Obviously, the belt must not be washed with IM, unless it is a white belt. Ideally, the belt should be hand washed and left to dry on the washing line. The belt can be straightened and attached around the pants during the folding process.

A point to remember when to take care of the IM is not step to use bleach, even if this will make the material appear to be white, properties of bleach damage actually material and IM last not so long that he must do.

The quality of the belt will determine the length of time that it will last. The best type of belt to buy is a bend which is woven double, because it withstand more rigorous when it comes to washing, and attaching. The uniform will have the best chance for lasting for a period of reasonable time, if these steps are followed and if no Couture becomes loose or Frays, then this should be addressed as soon as possible.

The fray on IM most common areas are the area of the groin of the pants and under the arms in the jacket. It is because the movements that occur in the art of karate. The seams of the equipment are generally white and as such white cotton should only be used to repair damaged couture. Sewing quality will depend on the quality of the garment as a whole, and the general rule is that the more expensive clothing, the better the quality.

When choosing which clothing to buy, it is important to recognize that there are a number of different qualities available IM. If someone is just starting and then a garment to average price should be sufficient, the fineness of the competitor should be established before large amounts of money on clothes custom that can be very expensive.

Similarly, if the purchase of clothing for children, it is important to remember that children grow as they age. Children's clothing are no more good markets, but it is probably investing in one of the cheaper, bearing in mind that they must replace regularly because of their growth.

Once it was established that the person taking part in the martial art is serious about it, it may be useful to invest in more than one IM, though a belt of quality at the time should be sufficient. Similarly, beginners should use the lighter Keikogi and these followers most art must opt for a more heavy option, as the noise of heavy equipment in competitions is impressive of judges and other competitors.

When you purchase a karate uniform, or speaking to experts on karate, it may be useful to know a few good words regularly. IM is divided into three parts; jacket, trousers and belt. The jacket is sometimes called the uwagi, pants are known as zupan and the belt can be called the obi. Other useful karate terms that may be useful are dojo: Karate training area; and another: a practitioner of karate.

Part of the uniform which is not often mentioned is the human part. This generally includes the hands and feet. These are kept naked at all times in karate and should also be kept as clean as possible. The fact that your feet are going to be around other people. Therefore during training or competition should mean that they are as presentable as IM of karate, by adhering to this, self-discipline and pride will be recognized.

Weight of the cutting of Judo techniques

Making Weight Techniques

There are so many different ways to make weight, and sometimes it can become very confusing as to how or what you are going to do. Making weight can be difficult or easy; it all depends on how you approach it.

Many things need to be taken into consideration when preparing for a competition. This can include dieting before the comp, sauna-ing, starving yourself, or moving up a weight division. In this article I am going to give a brief outline of the different techniques people use and the theory behind each one. This is not going to be an article of exactly what to do its an outline of techniques used, for more info do some research.

Dieting before the competition

Many people believe in dieting before the competition. To burn the last bit of fat so that their entire body weight is all muscle they usually diet using low an all protein dinner or no dinner at all. To lose weight you must burn MORE calories than what you put in your body. Many studies suggest that having 3 meals a day slows your Basal Metabolic Rate or BMR (metabolism) but by having 6 small meals a day your BMR is always increased resulting in burning more calories throughout the day.

Depending on how much weight you have to lose you may have to start dieting 6 weeks leading up to the competition.

Many people find dieting the hardest opponent in Judo. Dieting requires discipline and constant monitoring and can be very mentally draining when preparing meals, knowing what and what not to eat as well as eating enough not to get run down or ill.

Low Carbohydrate diet:

Low Carb diets are very popular. There are many versions out there but are all very similar. Same say have carbs for breakfast and lunch but none after 2 pm, and a protein dinner, while others say have no dinner at all.

A very important rule when talking about dieting is, 'if you are losing weight, don't change the diet. Once you plateau then change the diet." Make sure when dieting to talk to a professional or research yourself so you are doing all the right things. Experience has shown me that on a low carb diet I don't start losing weight for around 2 weeks, so within those 2 weeks I was training like crazy and because I wasn't loosing any weight I was dieting even harder and stricter and I would end up run down and get some sort of illness like the flu. Make sure you know your body; everyone is different so listen to your body and adjust your diet accordingly.

The dark side of Low carbohydrate diets

The human body uses 4 energy sources, these are fats, carbohydrate, protein and alcohol. But the brain (the human bodies control centre) only uses Carbohydrate for energy. It doesn't use any other energy sources, so if your muscles have no energy either does your brain. This is why on a low carb diet you are tired, lethargic, sleepy and mentally drained. Many athletes don't like dieting on a low carb diet because on a low carb diet you cannot train as intense or for as long. This is bad because leading up to a competition you want to be training at 100% without feeling tired, rundown and mentally drained.

Using a low carb diet (and dieting in general) is all about trial and error, the more times you compete and make weight the better you get at knowing how your body reacts and feels.

Low Residual diets

Low residual (Fibre) diets are mainly used in the last week or week and a half leading up to competition. The stomach can hold on the average male (75 kg) 4 kg, and girl (60 kg) 2 kg worth of weight and it can't take up to 1 week to rid the stomach of that weight. Low fibre diets are used to not to flush the stomach but to make sure that whatever is getting eaten doesn't stay in the stomach. It goes in and out due to the fact that there is minimal fibre in it. These diets are great because you can eat things such as white bread, biscuits, rice bubbles etc and you know that they won't just sit in your gut unnecessarily weighing you down.

Another negative aspect of low fibre diets is the fact that these foods don't contain vitamins and minerals. I recommended that on any diet you should be taking multi vitamins and minerals to supplement any you might miss in your regular diet.

Diuretics

Diuretics are a drug that are used to flush out the body of fluid and food by making you go to the toilet a lot. I personally I have never used diuretics but I have friends who have used them before. Some athletes take celery tablets and this supposedly makes you go to the toilet more often.

Another technique people do is drink up to 6 litres of water a day 2 weeks out of competition and you can imagine how often you would go to the toilet drinking that much. Then in the last week they drink as little as possible. The theory behind this is to trick your body into thinking that it is holding water so it continues to flush itself out.

I think this is bad for 2 reasons. Your bladder is overworking and the human body is smarter than that.

Also 2 weeks out form the comp I wouldn't want to be 2 kgs heavier due to too much water, mentally that is not good.

One of the most popular theories is that drinking caffeine dries you out, this is true to an extent. Let me explain: If you drink 1 litre of water your body may hold onto 600ml of it, therefore excreting 400 ml of it. Caffeine is a diuretic meaning that if you drink 1 litre of it your body will only hold on 200 ml of it and excrete the rest. Therefore people assume it helps you loose weight but in actual fact your body just holds onto less of it that's all.

This theory is similar to the negative calorie theory with the celery.

Cutting weight

Cutting weight is the term used where you must sweat and eat as little as possible in order to make weight. This is the most common technique used to make weight in not just judo but also in wresting, boxing and even horse racing. Some athletes can lose up to 6 kgs in the sauna depending on what weight division and also how much muscle mass they have. How much muscle is very important because the muscle is 70% water, therefore the more muscle you have the more water you can lose in the sauna.

There are 4 ways you can lose weight in the sauna.

With clothes on: Some athletes get in the sauna with a lot of clothes on and sweat it out that way. This is a great way to heat yourself up quickly but once you start sweating your clothes become wet and I believe it cools you down resulting in less sweat being excreted by the skin.

Exercise in there: Push-ups, boxing, star jumps what ever you can think of. What these athletes don't understand is that once your body temperature has been raised, you start sweating. These athletes don't know that once your core temperature is raised you will start sweating, it doesn't just keep rising, once its raised it stays at that level. The sweat can only come out so fast and any more exercise is just going to waste your energy.

I have found that many females cannot lose much weight in the sauna, these girls I recommended to go for a run or exercise in the sauna.

Sit in swimmers: Sitting in the sauna is, I believe, the best way to cut weight. Just sit in there and continually wipe down all the sweat on your body. This will encourage more sweat to come out.

Baby Oil: Some people put baby oil all over their skin and the theory behind this is to clog up the pores in your skin. This will raise your core temperature resulting in more sweat. I think this method is stupid because why are you making it harder for your body to sweat by clogging the pores, shouldn't you let the sweat come out.

How long do you sauna for?

Some people like to sweat it out in on big hit, (also saves money) but if you have a bit to lose and you don't mind paying try losing the weight over a couple of days. For instance, if I fight on Sunday I will sauna a little on Friday and then sat arvo and maybe if I'm lucky and I'm underweight ill eat some dinner. This is all up to the athlete and how comfortable they feel in doing it the way the want.

I don't lose weight in the sauna?

I don't know why but some females just don't loose weight in the sauna. For these people I recommend buying a sauna suit and go for a run or bike or something. Just rug up and go for it, maybe these girls need to go and exercise in the sauna that may help them out.

I can't find a sauna?

If you cannot find a sauna here are a couple of options.

- Put on a lot of layers of winter clothing and go for a run or sit on an exercise bike and ride hard.

- Rug up and sit in a car with the heater turn on full blast.

- Turn the hot shower on in the bathroom and let it get nice and steamy sit in there and sweat it out. (Just don't burn yourself.)

- Sit in a hot bath and sweat that way.

Should I move up a weight division?

If you are sick of making weight and saunaing and all the rest of it just move up a weight division. It all depends on what you want to do judo wise. Are you a recreational player or competitive, even then what are your goals. Can you move up a weight division and still be competitive internationally if not nationally. All depends on what you want out of judo.

Some athletes especially in the heavy weights can afford to give some weight away, as long as they are faster than their heavier opponents. For example Kurt Angle gave away around 10kg when he did wrestling. Another example is the heavyweight girl from Slovenia. She fights +78 and only weighs in at 85 kg. She is so fast and strong she placed 2nd in the open t the 2007 world championships.

For more info on different ways to make weight ask some of the older competitors how they made weight. Also do some research on the internet and find what's best for you, remember that trial and error is the only way to perfect making weight comfortably.

I hope this report has helped you out when it come to thinking about how you will tackle the making weight problem next time.

Why the framework law is so Important for MMA fighters

BJJ is an acronym for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu art martial derivate of the Jiu Jitsu of the Japan original. It has increased in popularity in the mid-1990s with family Gracie and the first editions of UFC in legend MMA Royce Gracie won all his battles with the presentation to show the world the power and effectiveness of the framework law.

Since then, much has changed in the world of mixed martial arts, he went to be called "vale tudo" to the well known MMA, UFC was bought by the Gracie family by Dana White, who transformed it into a multi-billion dollar company. The spotlight will of America to the Japan, where pride years and back in America again. Gone is the day that what is called street fighters had chance to win a UFC fight, which do remember Tank Abbot?

What has not changed, is the need for high MMA fighter for the good work and the best way to get it is through law. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu may give the edge of a MMA fighter aircraft needs to win a match at any time through various presentations ranging from simple arm to the more complex bar triangle chokes and locks of his leg.

The best MMA fighters are the most complete, those powerful striking capacity, the games of fast feet, off the coast of course and enormous endurance levels are good on the ground. Why focus on field work?

For the simple fact that most MMA bat end up from the ground, the top fighters can cane their opponent with fists, kicks and so on. To dominate the opponent to the ground a hunter must know grappling techniques that can be learned with formation of BJJ in special no IM sessions of training, also known as the bid.

But the framework is also good when a Hunter is under their opponents, the framework law specialists can easily remedy the situation or simply attacking from the guard position, which is by far the position of attack preferred specialist of BJJ.

Given that the fighting Brazilian Jiu Jitsu begins with two opponents standing, veterans of the framework law also have a wide range of dismantling their sleeves, needless to say that to make a withdrawal well applied to an opponent.

Where to get the best BJJ training?

Years ago the best place to get training in BJJ top notch may be in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), home of the Gracie family legendary and Grand Master Helio, who died in January 2009. Helio with his brother Carlos Gracie created art of Gracie Jiu Jitsu, known internationally as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Today with the same framework of high-quality teachers in the world, you can get training top notch at the four corners of the world. There are champions of the world famous in Europe, America, the United Kingdom, Australia and even in Abu Dhabi, where one of the most important tournaments of the season of BJJ is detained.

For sum up to a framework law things good Professor will be shy to his titles and diplomas. Avoid those who say that they have done this and that but nothing to prove. Talk is cheap, remember?

But if you have the time and money to do so, I recommend that you spend a few months in the formation of the Brazil with the best fighters of the framework law on the planet.

Today most of gymnasiums providing MMA offer training complete training sessions which includes training on foot and on the ground. The most important to remember is to train safely and to always use MMA equipment.

Fanatic MMA specializes in mixed martial arts of training, the equipment of MMA and high-performance sports nutrition.

What is the best self-defense system Look like?

The best Self Defense program

What happens in the world is that looks like?

Although after 20 years of research, learning and practising of dozens of different systems and interviewing dozens of military secret agents, police, brawlers, veterans of underground cage and street fighters, that I am a response which can be just what you are looking for.

To understand this off us have start at the beginning.

What is the purpose to defend? It is to avoid you or a love one to be injured or killed. OK, it's quite simple.

Perhaps you notice, but this is the definition of self-defence, not self defence system.

A system of self-defence must: be a collection of tools, principles and knowledge that enable you to survive a violent encounter and neutralize a threat with the minimum of damage to yourself.

Many people chose a martial art, in the mistaken belief that it is a system of self defence.

There are two crucial differences between Martial Arts and Self defence:
-The defence of self-defence is focused on non-technical targets
-The defence of self-defence has no rules

So, what makes the best system?

-The best system of self defence is that which teaches you more effective targets to attack (to neutralize and attacker) and gives you the tools to achieve these objectives of various ranges of distance.

-It should also teach you tune the body language of everyone around you, to identify threats before they two fingers.

- And finally teach you how to use your own body language to tell the attackers to "this is not a guy I want to fight."

If you have thought about the legitimate defence for a long time this should make sense for you. It may still seem a bit simplistic, but this is what really amounts to folks.

To clarify this point let's talk about targets and techniques.

The best targets are those who inflict pain and maximum damage. Think the eyes, the gonads, neck, inside knees, solar plexus, etc.

The best self-defense program starts with such or such fancy punch or kick. It will be begin by pointing to the goals you want to hit and then teach you how to hit their.

The best self-defense program does teach you moves of presentation (tips for the application of the law, always useful but different). It will teach you to brutally attack high value targets.

The best Self Defense System Will: teach you a myriad of movements to strike these targets of high value so that you can hit their of any range.

Most martial arts focus too much on perfect technique.

The problem is in a fight that you'll get agitated when a shift of the aggressor to close so that you can use or move, and you start tapping move your brain to your next favorite, before you know you are getting beaten senseless.

OK so I am still probably step giving you the answer you were seeking, "program xyz is the best."

Here is why:

I want allows you to understand the principles of self-defence, before you go and buy or receive training of anyone.

I am a fan of self defence, I am deeply concerned with you remain safe and tired of hearing people to sell their "bs" programs for people who do not follow these proven principle.

If you want to find a program that honestly gives you the knowledge and tools that needed to stay safe and protect those that you like my website Fightfast.com.

If these principles makes no sense to you, you'll love what I have to say. OH and do don't forget to check my Fightfast.com/blog blog for tons of great tips on self defense moves and how safely.

Which Style is best

There is much controversy over the years on the martial arts style is the best or the most lethal. I remember to when I started my training in 1975, it seems that everybody thought an ultimate battle style where some where. When I started training Tang Soo Do, now called Soo Bak Do in some circles, people ask me what best martial arts style was. I told Tang Soo Do. Hey, admit, everyone wants to think that they are part of the best thing that they do? Sure they do, it is human nature. No one wants to be part of something which is considered as inferior. And control of individual styles are and are proud of their achievements and art, they chose to devote themselves; Thus, it is natural for them to tell their students that they are fortunate to have found the best available school.

In recent years mixed martial arts has gained in popularity with the masses. And yet again, I hear people say that it is the pinnacle of the art of fighting. You must however, don't forget that there are even in MMA rules and therefore not "the real thing" in terms of a real Street confrontation. In the street, when you fight for your life or the life of a loved one, there is no rules. Small joint, eye locks nicks, smashing snout and biting a piece of good size of flesh off the coast of your attackers body is perfectly acceptable. In other words, you do what's needed to survive and on foot.

When you start trying to number the different styles of combat systems see you quite quickly that there are hundreds, perhaps even thousands of styles. I have heard it said that there is more than 300 different styles of kung fu only; and they are divided into northern and southern styles. Some are considered hard styles while others are considered soft styles. In Japanese, Korean and Okinawan systems, there are hard and soft styles. Some technical in stand up great with the kicking, kneeing, playing and striking as their main arsenal of weapons. Other great grappling, throwing, and joint techniques of locking as their main area of expertise. Others still combined some of the two for what they think is a "more balanced" system of self-defence. So, who is the best?

In my view, that there is no best martial art style. I believe that the secret of being a superior martial artist is within the individual. When you stop to y to think, all styles are basically the same thing in general education. How to defend and attack, I hope that in a way that brings you back as quickly as possible. I believe that there are bad, average, good and very good instructors there and always has been... The quality of the instructor that you train under is a big difference. In my view, what is the same for the students. If you have never studied martial arts you know by now that you get is what you put. If you train just two days a week, and that's it, you will never be very good. It is an art. Art must be cultivated and developed in the constant practice.

Everyone knows that in the world of art, there are bad painters, good painters and there are outstanding painters. Its the same in the martial arts. Even in the same gym room, it is rare when you find two people with the same rank that are equally relevant. I have always participated in the tournaments 'open' against the martial artist of all kinds of styles. There is not a style that dominates. Everything comes down to the man/woman, artist. Who has developed his skills more, is that that will come out on top.

You must also take into account such things as a threshold of pain of individuals, how many heart and determination, there, etc. Then there is this thing called "chance". I have often said that I would rather be lucky to well throughout the day. And, well, have you ever heard of fellow called "Murphy"? It seems to follow me around wherever I go. The truth is that anyone can be beaten. It just the circumstances or the calendar. An experienced fighter aircraft knows too well.

You may not agree with this. Well, it is your prerogative. But after more than 36 years in the field of arts, I have come to embrace this belief without reservation. I think that if will make you look around, watch and observe for so long that I have you will believe it too. I appreciate all the martial arts. I believe that each system philosophies and useful techniques. I believe that all things which are not so precious too. The bottom line, there is no ultimate martial art. It's about you baby. Train hard, often form, do not take short cuts, the best you can be.

The most effective Kettlebell exercise for the framework law

Grip is that everything in the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, to be forced to let go your opponents IM fatigue failure or simply do not have the strength in your hands to hang on. Two exercises simple kettlebell and a towel may change your set of framework law for ever.

Changing hands kettlebell swing and kettlebell swing arm with a towel, it can give you the strength and endurance, that you are looking for.

The most effective kettlebells for these exercises. the handle makes it easy to drag a small hand towel across. Most gyms now also carry kettlebells as standard equipment so that they are easy to find. All kettlebell will make, style classic or extra. Try to do on a dumbbell is just down right dangerous and you could lose control of the dumbbell it obtains in the first place, so I strongly discourage the assistance of any other thing, but a kettlebell. Now all you need is a good sustainable towels. You will modify both hands on the first swing and then progressive the swing arm. This is not some get used because your hands may appear quickly.

The first exercise is standard two-handed swing; Drag the towel through the handful of kettlebell. If you are short in stature, you may have to undergo some box plyo to give you the height, you will need for the bottom position of the swing. Once you have the kettlebell between your legs and towel through the handle to the same request as you would a swing with both hands. Adhesion on the towel closely that you'll feel lost fire between hands once move you forward. I recommend you 3 to 5 sets of ten; Once you can do this without losing your grip, you can start doing sets of work time. It is not only a grip in BJJ strength, but also its endurance, you will need. When you can perform 5 sets now its time to work for the moment. Start with 30 seconds then 45, then go for the full minute of both hands swinging with the towel. The great thing about the work of kettlebell is all you need to do to make it more difficult increases the weight. Try a set with a 12 kg, then move on to a 16 kg and shows how hard that you work. Not only you reinforce and making the grip android endurance you also get a large and powerful cardio training hips and glutes with swinging you are.

Now the next level of progression is arm swings with the towel, it's a killer! Take your time and work sets timed in your routine like swing with both hands.

By adding these two exercises in your routine 2-3 times per week it will take not long noted the difference your training partners especially when they are unable to break your grip.
